URCA Publishes 2013 Fee Schedule

December 28, 2012, the Utilities Regulation and Competition Authority (URCA) published its fee schedule for January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2013, revising the previous schedule published December 30, 2011. The new schedule amends the URCA Application/Administration Fees, adding Studio Transmitter Link (STL) and Type Approval application/administration fees. The annual URCA fee for large operating license holders [greater than or equal to $0.5m annual relevant turnover], including individual and class operating licensees requiring registration will be 1.075% of annual relevant turnover in 2013, compared to the 1.22% fee for 2012. URCA Appoints General Counsel

Vincent Wallace-Whitfield as General Counsel with effect from August 1, 2012. Mr Wallace-Whitfield joined the Public Utilities Commission, which preceded URCA, December of 2006 as Senior Legal Counsel, and later as Senior Case Officer, following the 2009 establishment of URCA.
