FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Cable Bahamas makes application to restructure its pay television packages Today, the Utilities Regulation and Competition Authority (‘URCA’) published the ‘Consultation document for Cable Bahamas Limited’s Application for the Repackaging of REVTV Offers’ (ECS 04/2021) on its website. URCA received applications from Cable Bahamas Limited (‘CBL’) requesting URCA’s approval to restructure its REVTV offers for residential and business pay television subscribers. For Immediate Release The Utility Regulation and Competition Authority, URCA, today issued its consultation document on Proposed Tariff Review Framework, Guidelines and Procedures for Public Electricity Suppliers.  In 2015, the Bahamas Government amended the Electricity Act, EA, giving URCA the regulatory remit for the Energy and Electricity sector.  Regulatory oversight includes an obligation to review tariff applications from all Public Electricity Suppliers.
