The Utilities Regulation and Competition Authority (URCA) has published its Statement of Results (SoR) following consultation on its Draft Annual Plan 2026.

The SoR sets out URCA’s responses to submissions received from the Bahamas Telecommunications Company Limited (BTC) and a joint submission from Cable Bahamas Limited and Be Aliv Limited (CBL Group). These submissions addressed a range of issues, including URCA’s strategic direction, the sequencing of consultations, budget transparency, international engagement, and key initiatives.

URCA acknowledges the value of stakeholder participation in the consultation process and notes that the feedback received has informed its final position.

URCA confirms that its final Annual Plan 2026, together with the accompanying budget and its 2025 Annual Report, will be published by 30 April 2026.
