The Utilities Regulation and Competition Authority (“URCA”) issues this Statement of Results and Final Decision on its “Consultation on: Types of Licences and Exemptions for The Electricity Sector in The Bahamas – ES 05/2017” document (“the Consultation Document”) in exercise of its powers under section 38(3)(c) of the Electricity Act, 2015 (“EA”). Girls in ICT Day 2018

The Utilities Regulation and Competition Authority (URCA) will once again lead the Bahamas’ observation of the International Telecommunications Union’s (ITU) International “Girls in “ICT” Day. The ITU invites its member states worldwide to celebrate the 4th Thursday of April each year as International Girls in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Day. This ITU initiative began years ago and has been endorsed by its 170 member states.
