subscribers can now call a fixed or mobile subscriber on another island without incurring the $0.18 per minute toll surcharge. BTC has also changed its dialing plan which will allow mobile subscribers to use 7, 10, or 11 digit dialing to call fixed or mobile subscribers. This change will not have any impact on the effective price paid by the customer and will simplify the dialing arrangements to the benefit of customers. On Wednesday 29th June, 2011 URCA received two responses to its Public Consultation Document (ECS 09/2011) on “Methodology for Assessment of Significant Market Power”, which was issued on May 18th 2011. URCA today approved BTC's Reference Access and Interconnection Offer (RAIO) and certified BTC as being compliant with its SMP obligation to produce a RAIO. BTC must now publish the URCA-approved RAIO online its website within the next ten (10) days.
