Today, URCA issues this Notice extending the timeframe for interested persons to submit a response to its Consultation Document – Number Portability for The Bahamas (ECS 8/2011) published on April 15, 2011. URCA has received requests from industry stakeholders indicating that due to the depth and complexity of the issues involved in the Consultation, parties needed additional time to formulate responses. URCA is, therefore, extending the deadline from June 10, 2011 to ensure that the consultation is as comprehensive, and inclusive, as possible.
