URCA Approves BTC’s Application to Remove Inter-Island Toll Charges for Mobile Originated Calls

subscribers can now call a fixed or mobile subscriber on another island without incurring the $0.18 per minute toll surcharge. BTC has also changed its dialing plan which will allow mobile subscribers to use 7, 10, or 11 digit dialing to call fixed or mobile subscribers. This change will not have any impact on the effective price paid by the customer and will simplify the dialing arrangements to the benefit of customers.
