Extension for Submission of Responses to Technical Standards Framework for FM Radio Broadcasting
The Utilities Regulation and Competition Authority (“URCA”) issues this Notice in accordance with section 8(1)(e) of the Communications Act, 2009. On December 22, 2015, URCA issued its Public Consultation Document – Technical Standards Framework for FM Radio Broadcasting in The Bahamas [ECS 07/2015] requesting responses to be submitted to URCA on or before February 12, 2016. URCA has received comments from key industry stakeholders indicating that additional time to formulate responses to the issues and questions involved in the Consultation is needed.
