Girls in ICT Day 2018

The Utilities Regulation and Competition Authority (URCA) will once again lead the Bahamas’ observation of the International Telecommunications Union’s (ITU) International “Girls in “ICT” Day. The ITU invites its member states worldwide to celebrate the 4th Thursday of April each year as International Girls in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Day. This ITU initiative began years ago and has been endorsed by its 170 member states. URCA publishes Statement of Results and Final Decision on Proposal to Open Standard Spectrum Bands

The Utilities Regulation and Competition Authority (URCA) has today published a Statement of Results and Final Decision  under the caption Proposal to Open Standard Spectrum Bands Currently Specified as ‘Closed’ in the National Spectrum Plan 2014-2017 (ECS 03/2014).  The Statement of Results and Final Decision is listed as ECS 04/2018 and follows URCA’s review of the responses to the Public Consultation Document, ECS 18/2017, published on 9 November 2017 under the same caption.
