Notice – Review of Wholesale Fixed Broadband Resale Offer Industry Questionnaire

The Utilities Regulation and Competition Authority (URCA) is reviewing the wholesale fixed broadband resale obligations imposed on operators with Significant Market Power (SMP) in The Bahamas. As part of this review, URCA is issuing a questionnaire to industry stakeholders. This questionnaire will be used to assess the demand for these wholesale services and any need to potentially amend the current service offers. Notice – Consultation on Draft Public Electricity Supplier Licence

The Utilities Regulation and Competition Authority (“URCA”) issues this Notice in accordance with section 38(3)(c) of the Electricity Act, 2015 (“EA”). URCA invites and welcomes written comments from interested parties regarding its Consultation Document ES 02/2016 on the draft Public Electricity Supplier Licence. Within fourteen (14) calendar days after the consultation closes, URCA will carefully consider the comments received and issue a Statement of Results and Decision along with the finalised text of the licence.
