Deadline Extension, Spectrum Pricing Consultation
The Utilities Regulation and Competition Authority (“URCA”) issues this Notice in accordance with section 8(1)(e) of the Communications Act, 2009 (“Comms Act”).
On April 11, 2014, URCA issued its Public Consultation Document – Review of Radio Frequency Spectrum Pricing [ECS 04/2014] requesting responses to be submitted to URCA on or before May 30, 2014.
URCA has received requests for benchmarking information from key industry stakeholders. On May 30, 2014, URCA issued a Supplement to Consultation Document – Benchmarks for Review of Radio Frequency Spectrum Pricing [ECS 11/2014]. Therefore, URCA is extending the deadline to give stakeholders the opportunity to review that information and formulate responses to the issues and questions involved in the Consultation.
Interested persons now have until Monday, June 30, 2014 to submit their responses to URCA.
