URCA Extends Public Consultation on New Licences and Extensions for the NGS

On 12 September 2025, URCA published a Public Consultation on Proposed New Supplementary Licences to import Natural Gas into The Bahamas, as well as a Preliminary Determination and Draft Order on a Proposed Exemption from the requirement to obtain a licence to import Natural Gas into The Bahamas.

The consultation period was originally due to close 12 October 2025.

However, interested stakeholders have asked for more time to properly formulate responses to the documents.

Therefore, the consultation period has been extended to 5:00 p.m. 31 October 2025.
