Update on GEMS Final Determination and Final Order
URCA today published a Final Determination and Order that it issued under Sections 99 and 95 respectively of the Communications Act 2009 to Bartlett-McWeeney Communications Limited, the operators of GEMS FM Radio 105.9, on May 26, 2011 arising from the failure of the Licensee to retain or to permit URCA to inspect or be provided with recordings of programmes broadcast by the Licensee in February and March 2011. Pursuant to a request to URCA for an extension of the time period, the Licensee has until September 23, 2011 to comply with the Order.
