The Utilities Regulation and Competition Authority (URCA) has issued its Statement of Results and Final Determination on the Renewable Energy Plan submitted by Saint George’s Cay Power Company Limited (SGCPC), following a public consultation process that included written submissions, a resident petition, and feedback received at a public forum held in October 2025.

As the independent regulator of the electricity sector, URCA reviewed SGCPC’s Renewable Energy Plan in accordance with the Electricity Act, 2024, with particular regard to national energy policy objectives, electricity sector policy goals, and the public interest.
