URCA today publishes the Consultation Document (NGS 20/2024) – Regulatory Fees Methodology for The Natural Gas Sector in The Bahamas.
The Consultation Document outlines the relevant portions of the Natural Gas Act, 2024 (NGA) which grant URCA the power to issue regulatory and other measures to regulate the Natural Gas Sector (NGS) in The Bahamas.
The Consultation Document is specific to the fees URCA proposes imposing on licensed entities to cover the costs allocable to the regulation of the NGS.
URCA is not posinbg any specific questions under this Consultation Document.
However, URCA invites general submissions and comments on its approach to determining fees for the NGS and encourages submissions and comments on the methodological principles and terms and conditions in the Consultation Document.
The submissions will be allowed until the end of the Consultation Period on 8 November 2024.
