URCA has issued a public consultation on ES 15/2026 – Analysis of Return on Investment for Small Renewable Energy Systems, examining the financial performance of residential and commercial renewable energy installations in The Bahamas.

The study assesses factors including payback periods, return on investment, system costs, and the effectiveness of the current net billing framework in supporting renewable energy adoption and the objectives of the National Energy Policy 2025–2030.

URCA invites comments from licensees, renewable energy customers, industry stakeholders, and members of the public on the findings and consultation questions outlined in the document.

Responses should be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on 19 June 2026 by email to info@urcabahamas.bs.
