The Draft Annual Plan focuses on strengthening leadership, enhancing connectivity, promoting international collaboration, and addressing sector-specific priorities.
Key highlights include:
- Establishment of the Northern Bahamas Office to improve regulatory oversight in Grand Bahama, Abaco, Bimini, and the Berry Islands.
- Advancing 5G network deployment through a comprehensive regulatory framework in the electronic communications sector.
- Revising renewable energy frameworks and energy efficiency programs in the electricity sector to support the upcoming updated National Energy Policy (2025–2030).

URCA remains committed to transparency and stakeholder engagement. The Draft Annual Plan invites feedback from licensees, government agencies, and members of the public. A stakeholder forum is scheduled for March 2025 to discuss the draft and gather input to shape the final plan.
