Electronic Communications
Electronic communications, as defined in the Communications Act of 2009, involves transmitting signals of any kind using electrical, magnetic, or electromagnetic energy. The electronic communications sector (ECS) encompasses all activities related to providing electronic communications services, including broadcasting.

The National Energy Policy 2013-2033 of the Government of the Bahamas outlines strategic goals for the Electricity Sector. These include establishing effective governance, legal, and regulatory frameworks, enhancing energy infrastructure to increase generation capacity and ensure safe, reliable, and affordable electricity distribution to consumers sustainably, and encouraging the development of sustainable energy opportunities.
