On January 15, 2013, The Utilities Regulation and Competition Authority (URCA) issued Final Determinations on alleged breaches of the Communications Act by the Broadcasting Corporation of The Bahamas (BCB) as follows:

• May 2, 2012 complaint regarding a paid political advertisement of the Free National Movement (FNM)
• Alleged use of profanity during a May 4, 2012 television broadcast
