Public Notice: Extension of Time for Responses to Number Portability Consultation
Today, URCA issues this Notice extending the timeframe for interested persons to submit a response to its Consultation Document – Number Portability for The Bahamas (ECS 8/2011) published on April 15, 2011.
URCA has received requests from industry stakeholders indicating that due to the depth and complexity of the issues involved in the Consultation, parties needed additional time to formulate responses. URCA is, therefore, extending the deadline from June 10, 2011 to ensure that the consultation is as comprehensive, and inclusive, as possible.
Therefore, interested persons will now have until June 24, 2011 to submit their responses to URCA. All responses must be addressed to the attention of the Director of Policy and Regulation in accordance with the instructions as set out in the Consultation Document.
