Today, URCA published a Public Consultation to Initiate the Opening of New Spectrum Bands. This work follows the publication of the National Spectrum Plan on 12 March 2010.

The document is to solicit views on the proposed opening of new spectrum bands and to invite expressions of interest for frequency assignments from interested parties. The spectrum bands under consideration in this consultation are those where there are no existing frequency assignments.
